• Polished Diamonds™ are members of the New Zealand Jewellers and Watch Makers (member 1102) - a strict code of ethics and conduct is always maintained and required.
• We are a New Zealand registered company - 1749851 you can pursue us through the judicial system.
• Member of the Jewellers Vigilance Committee.
• Member of Gemmological Association of Australia.
• We have company Bank Accounts and Credit Card facilities with ANZ bank.  Because we accept credit card payments we have a financial bond any disputes are charged back to the customer automatically.  Credit card payments protect your purchase or save 1.0% and make a bank wire payment.
• We follow the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
• We follow the Fair Trading Act 1986

• We discuss designs, measurements and prices in complete detail.
• We will email an Order which will specify the details of what you are purchasing.  The order has a picture of the ring and detailed descrip of the certified diamond.
• Clients then make payment by Bank wire, Cheque, Direct Deposit to ANZ, or Credit Card (we accept Visa and Mastercard).
• Upon receipt we will begin your custom made one-off item; you have done something very special it is sure to be appreciated. 
• Production time varies from 5-15 business days which is remarkable for this level of quality.  It is important you feel comfortable, relax and enjoy having a special Diamond item custom made.
• After an independent diamond audit and appraisel, we confirm your delivery address and an insured courier will personally deliver the item - signature required.

• This is unusual because most clients design the item and review it in CAD before we ship - this ensures you always get what you are expecting.
• We have a satisfaction policy where we will resize the item or redesign the item at cost or simply refund the item as long as it is returned in as new condition with all documents within 7 days.

• Every diamond item we produce qualifies for a Lifetime of Free cleaning.  Simply send us your item with a return courier envelope and we'll clean and check it Free of Charge forever - how good is that?
• Every item we sell qualifies for polishing to remove scratches and maintenance to keep your diamonds sparkling "Across the Room" at cost.  Cost means we make no profit but charge for our immediate expences with zero margin - how nice is that?
• We guarantee our workmanship for a Lifetime.  Please note that claws can come loose and scratches do occur due to wear and tear.  Polished Diamonds can not be held liable for how you treat your diamond ring but we will repair at cost and any workmanship errors we will address free of charge.  Please note that if a diamond becomes loose it must have had pressure exerted on the setting as every diamond ring leaves our office secure and if unworn will stay that way for thousands of years.  We can easily re-set your diamond.  If a diamond is lost from the setting this is an insurance claim and we will gladly assist.

• We do our best to ensure that our prices are accurate and current.  We have over 50,000 products available so in the event of a pricing error we are not obligated to sell and will refund any payment.
• Our extensive diamond database is constantly selling and we will not guarantee a specific diamond until it has been paid for.  We can hold diamonds at our discretion usually for 24 hours.
• Credit Card payments are made using ANZ Bank's Egate facility which is an off-site, 128 bit SSL encrypted secure payment platform.  Your privacy and security are guaranteed using ANZ Bank's payment platform.  
• Each purchase is confirmed using an order confirmation this document details exactly what you are purchasing and includes the price - this is the total price you will pay there are no added extras such as freight, duty and taxes.
• GST Free is available for export which means collection at any of the main departure airports.  The Duty Free counter at the airport charges us $250 for handling and insurance which we on charge to you.  If you are travelling overseas and your purchase is more than $2500 it maybe worth considering the export option.  Chat to us for more information on Duty Free.
