Lab-grown diamonds are stunning gemstones created in a laboratory rather than occurring naturally on Earth. Chemically, they are identical to their natural counterparts but cost about one-fourth the price. To illustrate this, we can compare lab diamonds to ice: ice made in a freezer is man-made, while ice from a glacier is natural; yet, both are chemically and visually identical.
